VAULTS OF GRAYSKULL DIGITAL ART

Artwork has been an important part of the Masters Of The Universe story since its earliest days. I am not an artist, but I wanted to have a go at creating some digital art for a new gallery page. The images here are 3D renders combined with photographs of Classics figures. These pictures were created after producing my minicomics, so this is the next step for me using 3D software.

THE FORLORN LAND

Skeletor and Panthor following a ridge towards an unknown location in a grim landscape. A solitary dragon glides overhead, heralding an approaching storm. In this image I wanted to create an unbeautiful scene.

DESERT SANCTUARY

A remote location which He-Man visits to escape the stresses of defending the kingdom. I think the sunset has worked rather nicely in this picture, and I like way the water has rendered.

OCEAN GATEWAY

I love pictures of impossibly huge statues, and I thought I would try to create an Eternian version of this idea. Hopefully the camera angle and Stratos's placement in the image give the sense of scale I was after.

FALCON'S FLIGHT

This was my first attempt at creating a scene using an infinite procedural terrain in Vue. I had wanted to create a mountain picture, and I was pleased with the way this one turned out.

MEMORIAL TO THE FALLEN

I had a very different idea for this picture originally, but I was pleased with what happened in this image. I thought it would be intriguing to show King Randor honouring fallen comrades.
