INTRODUCTION
I had this bizarre idea one day. For some reason, I decided to write a Masters Of The Universe novel. Not a short piece of fan fiction, but a full-length story, with plots, sub-plots, character development and a few nods of appreciation to the writers who created the world of Eternia in the first place. Furthermore, I imagined the story as a movie trilogy. I realise that the story may never actually make it to the silver screen, but the scenery and action were created with that dream in mind.
I wanted to create a tale that made use of all my favourite MOTU themes, and set them in the 'swords and sorcery' world of Eternia that had been inspired by the Conan stories. Any story ever written by a MOTU fan is going to be a personal interpretation of the Eternian mythologies. Some of the themes in Grayskull deliberately challenge the 'official' viewpoints, while others address ideas that were never explored to their full potential.
I hope you enjoy the Grayskull story. I wanted to bring the tale to as many MOTU
fans as possible, and maybe if enough people like it, perhaps one day my dream of an
